QuickPat - software development for patent experts

We have been developing software for patent law firms and patent departments for almost 20 years, with a focus on obtaining and organizing patent documents, e.g. for setting up your own "prior art" database or performing patent monitoring.

Wer make use of application programming interfaces (APIs) to a variety of publicly available data sources of patent information (e.g. OPS - Open Patent Service), thereby making them accessible to your business.

Tasks and solutions originate from our own experience in the daily work of a law firm and often also from suggestions and inquiries from customers. Our solutions are suitable for everyday use and have been tried and tested in many patent law firms and IP departments. The latest development concerns software for automated use of the API of the Case Management System (CMS) of the newly established Unitary Patent Court (UPC).

QuickOut - creating and submitting UPC opt-out requests

QuickOut supports opt-out requests at the newly established Unitary Patent Court (UPC):

Set-up, management and filing of individual applications.

Multiple applications can be generated automatically based on lists: On providing the necessary information, e.g. from a patent management program, QuickOut generates applications from the provided lists and submits them to the UPC.

Automatic generation of accompanying documents ("RoP5").

Optionally with integrated interface to remote signature providers for the necessary qualified electronic signature of the accompanying documents (still under construction).

Monitoring of the "Opt-Out/Opt-In" status of patents - automatable, repeatable.

QuickPat - the original base program

QuickPat works as an interface to various publicly available data sources of patent information:

Full-featured client for the OPS API (OPS - Open Patent Service of the European Patent Office).

Flexible input format for the publication numbers of searched fonts.

Batch processing: automatic processing of lists with any number of designations of searched patent specifications.

Support for creating lists: designations of cited patent specifications can be extracted from any text documents. Simply copy and paste search results, e-mails, etc. and QuickPat will find all cited patent publication documents, list them, and then load the publications.

Automatic compilation of bibliographic data and/or title pages in an overview with table of contents.

Optionally with database support for linking loaded documents with internal projects or file numbers.

Optionally with management of "Information Disclosure Statements".
